  CLIMATE

The Riviera of Budva has a typical Mediterranean climate with mild but rainy winter and long dry summers.
Average temperature in July is around 28.3ºC.
Budva has  2,300 sunny hours a year, which makes it the top tourism metropolis in the Mediterranean. The temperature of the sea is from 11.7 in February, up to 24.7 in August.

 

TIME ZONE

Budva belongs to CET - Middle Europe Time Zone (GMT+1 hour).

 

DUTY FREE

Tourists in their luggage can have dried fruit, vegetables, mushrooms, row coffees, spices, teas in total weight of 1 kilogram, and 1 liter of alcohol drink in its original package and with the declaration.

It is allowed to carry in 2 liters of other drink, which also must have a declaration and must have original package. It is also allowed carrying in of 5 liters of bottled water in its original package.

 

ELECTRICITY

In Montenegro, like in the most of European countries, the voltage of electricity is 220V, and the frequency is 50Hz.

Visitors from Great Britain need an adapter for electrical devices, while visitors from the USA need transformer in order to use their 110/125V devices.

 

HEALTH

There are no diseases against which you have to be vaccinated before coming to Serbia. Health institutions and hygiene are in compliance with European standards.

 

CURRENCY AND EXCHANGE RATE

At the territory of Montenegro European currency euro (EUR - €) is in use. Foreigners can bring in unlimited amounts of foreign currency which must be reported at the entrance in the country in order to take them out of the country.
